Air Wise
Comfort has a visual language. It’s rarely loud or complicated. More often, it’s found in light, openness, and the quiet confidence that everything is working as it should.
That became the starting point for Air Wise, a company developing an elegantly simple product for balancing airflow throughout the home. Rather than borrowing the masculine, industrial cues common to the HVAC industry, we chose to create an identity that reflected the experience the product promised: a home that simply felt comfortable.
Although the company never moved beyond its identity system, the project reinforced a lesson that has shaped much of my work. The strongest brands aren’t built by imitating their competitors. They emerge by understanding the people they’re meant to serve—and by giving visual form to the experience they’re trying to create.
